Classics of Eastern 'Loong', Chapter 2

The loong's activity place (playground) changes with the seasons. During the spring equinox, the flying loongis in the sky; during the autumn wind, the hidden loongis in the abyss; in summer, it excitedly plays in the clouds, which is the loong's favorite season; in winter, it stirs up mud and dives into the turbid water like a pan to avoid being hurt by natural enemies. Legend has it that the loong's natural enemy is the Garuda. In Indian mythology, the Garuda is also known as Garuda, which feeds on loongs.

Feiloong/Flying Loong, Yingloong/God Loong, Jiaoloong/Flood Loong and Xianloong/Ancestor Loong were born from mythical beasts. Huangloong/Golden-skin Loong, Qingloong/Green-skin Loong, Chiloong/Brown-skin Loong, Bailoong/White-skin Loong and Xuanloong/Dark-skin Loong were born from gold, green gold, brown gold and dark gold.

Dark-skin Loong and Green-skin Loong are both spirits for water. Golden-skin Loong and Sheloong/Snake Loong are both leaders among loongs. The ambergris spit out by the white loongseeps into the land and turns into gold. The White-skin Loong's saliva seeps into the earth and turns into gold. Purple-skin Loong spits out its dragon saliva, its color can penetrate jade.

There is record: "The one with scales is called Jiaoloong/Flood Loong, the one with wings is called Yingloong/God Loong, the one with horns is called Qiuloong, the one without horns is called Chiloong, and the one that has not ascended to heaven is called Panloong/Down-to-earth Loong."

The one covering seven star constellations is called Cangloong/Giant Loong. The one with 9 colors is called Banloong/Color-playing Loong. The one with super good eyesight is called Liloong. The one within criminal case is called Eloong/Evil Loong and the one who ever killed people is called Duloong/Cruelty Loong. The one making rains is called Chengloong.
